CAVO OOH

A transit out-of-home campaign for a condo development by Minto, coming to Toronto’s Islington Village.

CAVO is a condo development by Minto Group that is coming to Toronto’s west-end Islington Village. It utilizes biophilic design – bringing nature inside and uses sustainable materials. This out-of-home (OOH) transit campaign was created as part of a larger campaign around the development. The CAVO brand and campaign identity was developed by real estate branding and creative studio, Stakreative.

The objective was to develop large format signage to promote the condo to local residents on nearby transit leveraging the existing brand look and feel that Stak created.

Islington Station (around the corner from the condo location) was taken over with murals and posters to reach a large audience. The UP Express train (a train service in the city running between downtown and the airport) was wrapped in messaging to reach additional viewers.

The creative approach was to use clear and simple messaging to let viewers know this condo was coming to the area. Bright colours and large text was used to capture attention in a short time frame. Big, bold imagery of architectural renderings that showcase the building and campaign photography is used in a way that feels elevated and impactful overall.
